MALEFICENT..im one of the seemingly few who don't think angeline jolie is stunning etc so I went to watch this for the film itself and wasn't disappointed very loosely based on sleeping beauty and brought up to date ..with the obligatory " huge monsters" that have to be in every fantasy film these days. the film hardly has sleeping beauty in it really as its all about the title character ,great acting again from angeline who like charlize theron(snow white n huntsman) must ve had a ball over doing the villain .you will feel for the her and be rooting for her all the way! come the end of the film you might enjoy the plot twist ....a great family film in the vein of "stardust" though not quite as good.. but that's a fantasy masterclass...
